Campus Involvement
From hair care, fitness, time management, healthy eating and de-stressing techniques, we helped equip our community with the necessary tools to practice self-love.
In our 8th Annual Dodgeball Tournament teams set out to play Medic Edition. A fun summer afternoon of dodgeball where we provided drinks and food helped bring the USF community together. We also received a special visit from one of our founding chapter sisters!
Sisters participated in a saluting competition where they were tasked to salute in a similar style of Lambda Theta Phi. The event pushed and tested their creativity, uniformity, discipline and talent.
Sisters co-hosted "Flower of Life" along with sisters of Omega Phi Beta. The event aimed to educate the community on sexual assault on college campuses and how to approach a situation when you become a bystander. Following the event, a t-shirt fundraiser was held where both CUS and OPB matched half the funds raised and we were able to donate over $700 to The Spring of Tampa Bay!
This Bull Market event spoke on an issue that is prevalent in Tampa Bay. Homelessness. USF members that stopped at our table were told that they had a minute to grab all the things that they would take with them if they were told to evacuate their home spontaneously. We also partnered with Metropolitan Ministries, they opened their doors to our organization to host a carnival-style event. We provided food, snacks, drinks, games for all families to play, prizes and candy to take home.
This was an event that the Alpha Mu Chapter hosted with the help of student organizations to introduce USF students to the many diverse cultures here on the USF campus. The event served to introduce students to the rich culture of their fellow peers as a way to promote and encourage travel.
